NEW DELHI: Lok Sabha speaker Om Birla has called on MPs, MLAs and other public representatives to make persistent efforts to clear up any misconceptions the public may have about coronavirus vaccines.
Members of all democratic institutions such as the assembly, the legislative council, the panchayat and the municipality should conduct public awareness campaigns on Covid-19 so that people can be protected against the pandemic, he said.
Birla made the remarks at the All India Board Conference, which took place virtually on Tuesday. The conference was called to discuss the functioning of the state legislatures with their presidents.
