Farmers enraged at breaking BJP’s ego in upcoming assembly poll: Akhilesh Yadav | India News

LUCK: Accusing the central government of being adamant about its three farm laws, Samajwadi Party Chairman Akhilesh Yadav said Sunday that the unity of farmers agitating against these laws will break the BJP’s ego.
He also accused the government of harming the financial interests of farmers after showing them the dream of doubling their income and getting their votes.
The condition of farmers has deteriorated under the BJP rule, it said in a statement.
“Farmers have suffered financially. The black farm laws enacted by the BJP last year have destroyed the entire agricultural economy,” he said.
Yadav said that farmers are very angry at the government and their anger has not abated yet.
“The unit of agitating the farmers will shatter the ego of the BJP,” he said.
Yadav said the BJP showed dreams of doubling the farmers’ income and got their votes, but the BJP did not even secure them a profitable price for their products.
“As a result, farmers are forced to sell their products to intermediaries at a throwaway price,” he said, adding that the government’s claims of benefits for farmers due to its various welfare plans for them are simply limited to ads in the media, “he said.
“All the articles used by the peasants have become more expensive and they have decided to give an adequate response to the BJP in the next elections to the assembly,” he added.
“Once the Samajwadi government is formed in the state after the assembly elections next year, Justice it will be done to farmers, “he said.
