Class 12 Assessment: Panel Report in 10 Days | India News

NEW DELHI: CBSE formed a 13-member committee on Friday to develop “objective criteria” for evaluating students in Class XII after board exams were canceled in light of the pandemic. The panel will send its report within 10 days.
On Thursday, the Supreme Court gave CBSE and ICSE two weeks to decide the objective criteria for the alternative mode of assessment and most states are now awaiting CBSE’s assessment policy.
“In view of the uncertain conditions due to Covid and the feedback obtained from various stakeholders, it was decided that the CBSE class XII board examinations will not take place this year. It was also decided that CBSE will take steps to compile the results according to well-defined objective criteria within a specified time frame, ”said Sanyam Bhardwaj, CBSE exam controller. “The panel will present its report within 10 days,” he added.
