BJP will celebrate the anniversary of the government as Covid ‘seva diwas’ | India News


NEW DELHI: As the Modi government completes seven years in office on Sunday in the shadow of the devastating pandemic, BJP has decided to limit itself to the Covid relief campaign across the country, reaching more than a lakh of villages with senior party officials, including Union. ministers and legislators, visiting at least two towns.
“Sunday’s seventh anniversary will be celebrated as ‘Seva Diwas.’ Party Chairman JP Nadda has called on officials, MPs, MPs and other elected representatives to work in the service of humanity amid the current crisis caused by the pandemic, ”said BJP chief spokesman Anil Baluni, it’s a statement.
Baluni said the party will organize Covid relief and preventive activities in a lakh of villages, of which it will focus on those most affected. In a letter to the CMs of the party-ruled states, Nadda also said that no event will be held to mark the anniversary and that various wellness programs will be launched instead.
