Jaishankar, who spent last week in the United States seeking help dealing with the coronavirus crisis in India, told reporters that while with Blinken at the State Department, India was grateful to the US administration for its strong support and solidarity.

Blinken said that in the early days of Covid-19, India was there for the United States, something the country “will never forget.” “Now we want to make sure that we are there for and with India,” he said.
“We have many issues to discuss. I believe that our relations have strengthened over the years and I am very confident that it will continue to do so. I want to express our appreciation to the administration and the United States for their strong support and solidarity at a time of great difficulty for us, “Jaishankar told reporters here at the State Department.
Blinken said the United States and India are working together on many important challenges of “our time.” “We are united to face Covid-19 together,” he said.
“The partnership between the United States and India is vital, strong, and I think it is increasingly productive,” added Blinken.
