Rs 21.80 crore doses of Covid vaccine have been provided to states and UT so far: Center | India News


NEW DELHI: More than 21.80 crore doses of Covid-19 vaccine have been provided to Union states and territories so far, and more than 1.90 crore of injections are still available with them, it said Sunday. the Union Ministry of Health.
In a statement, the ministry said that 40,650 doses of the Covid-19 vaccine are in the pipeline and will be received by the states / UT within the next three days.
“The government has so far provided, both through the free of charge category and through the direct state procurement category, more than 21.80 million doses of vaccine (21,80,51,890) to the states / UT “the ministry said in a statement.
Of this, the total consumption, calculated based on the average until May 22, 2021, including losses, is 19,90,31,577 doses (according to data available at 8 am on Sunday).
More than 1.90 crore of Covid vaccine doses (1,90,20,313) are still available in the states / UTs to be administered, the ministry said.
