Tamil Nadu imposes a total blockade without relaxation for a week | India News

CHENNAI: Tamil Nadu Prime Minister MK Stalin announced on Saturday a total blockade without relaxation in the state for a week starting May 24.
He made the announcement after holding a meeting with medical experts and representatives of the legislative parties.
However, the government has allowed pharmacies, the supply of milk, drinking water and newspapers.
In Chennai and other districts, the horticulture department in coordination with local agencies will supply vegetables and fruits through vehicles.
Essential departments such as the secretariat will function.
Employees of private establishments, banks, insurance companies, IT / ITES are requested to work from home.
E-commerce activities will be allowed between 8 a.m. M. And 6 p.m. M.
Takeout service is allowed in restaurants between 6 a.m. and 10 a.m., noon and 3 p.m., and 6 a.m. and 9 p.m. Supply through food delivery apps, Swiggy, Zomato is allow only in the prescribed time.
Fuel pumps and ATM services will work.
