NEW DELHI: The Union health ministry said Sunday 11,058 oxygen concentrators, 13,496 oxygen cylinders, 19 oxygen generating plants and around 5.3 lakh Remdesivir The vials received as global aid have been delivered to various states / UT from April 27 to May 15.
India has been receiving international donations and aid of Covid-19 relief medical supplies and equipment since April 27 from different countries and organizations to increase their efforts to combat the pandemic outbreak.
The Center is rapidly delivering global aid to Union (UT) states and territories to complement its resources and efforts, the ministry said.
“In total, 11,058 oxygen concentrators, 13,496 oxygen cylinders, 19 oxygen generation plants, 7,365 ventilators / Bi PAP, approximately 5.3 lakh of Remdesivir vials by road and air were delivered / dispatched, from April 27 to April 15. May.
“The main shipments received from May 14 to 15, 2021 from Kazakhstan, Japan, Swiss, Ontario (Canada), USA, Egypt and British Oxygen Co (UK) include oxygen concentrators (100), ventilators / BiPAP / CPAP (500), oxygen cylinders (300), Remdesivir (40,000) plus masks and protective suits, ”the ministry said.
