The Ministry of Defense authorizes the hiring of 400 retired military doctors | India News

NEW DELHI: The CEO of the Armed Forces medical services has now been formally authorized to hire 400 retirees military doctors in the battle against Covid-19, the Ministry of Defence he said on Sunday.
According to the order issued, 400 former medical officers of the Army Medical Corps and the Short Service Commission, who retired or were released between 2017 and 2021, are expected to be recruited by contract for a maximum period 11 months, “said an official.
They will be paid a fixed monthly fixed amount, which will be calculated by deducting the basic pension from the salary earned at the time of their retirement.
