Center left the Covid vaccination to the states: Sonia Gandhi | India News

NEW DELHI: Acting Congress President Sonia Gandhi alleged Monday that the Center has abdicated its responsibility and left Covid-19 vaccination in the hands of the states.
“The Modi government has abdicated its responsibility and left vaccination to the states. It would have been financially more equitable for the Center to provide the vaccine free of charge to all,” said the head of the party during the meeting of the Congressional Working Committee ( CWC).
Sonia Gandhi also expressed her concern about the worrying situation due to the Covid-19 pandemic in the country.
“In the last four weeks, the Covid-19 situation has become even more catastrophic. Governance failures have become even more serious. Scientific advice has been deliberately ignored and the country is paying a terrible price for the negligence of the central government in the pandemic, “he added.
