Curfew extended at J&K until May 17 | India News

JAMMU: The J&K administration extended the ‘Crown curfew’ imposed across the Union Territory to contain the spread of Covid-19 on Sunday until May 17. The curfew was scheduled to end on Monday (May 10).
The extended curfew will be stricter for everything else, except for some essential services. From Sunday (May 9) to May 17, the allowed gathering for married couples has been reduced to just 25.
These decisions were made at a high-level meeting of the Covid Task Force chaired by Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha after a detailed assessment of the district-level Covid scenario and the containment measures necessary to control the spread of the virus.
