NEW DELHI: The Railways has delivered 2,960 tons of liquid medical oxygen (LMO) to states across the country since April 19 in 185 tanker trucks, the national carrier said on Friday.

So far, 174 tonnes of LMOs have been discharged in Maharashtra, 729 tons in Uttar Pradesh, 249 tons in Madhya Pradesh, 305 tons in Haryana, 123 tons in Telangana and 1,334 tons in Delhi.
At present, 18 tankers are underway with more than 260 tonnes of LMOs expected to reach Maharashtra, Haryana and Delhi, the Railway said.
“Running new oxygen is a very dynamic exercise, and the numbers are updated all the time. More charged oxygen Expresses are expected to start their journeys later in the evening,” he said.
