PM Modi Praises Individuals and Organizations for Helping People Amid Covid | India News

NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi, while addressing ‘Mann ki Baat’, praised individuals and organizations, including ambulance drivers and laboratory technicians, for their contribution to the war against Covid-19.
“Aside from healthcare workers and frontline workers, who serve people around the clock, there are many people and organizations who are also helping others defeat Covid-19,” the prime minister said.
Prime Minister Modi said that the entire nation has once again united in the war against Covid-19.
“I can see that some people are helping people in quarantine by bringing food to them, others are providing free ambulance services. NGOs from all over the country are reaching out to help people,” he said.
“India’s fight against Covid-19 would be incomplete without the efforts of ambulance drivers, laboratory technicians and the like. I extend my gratitude to them,” he added.
During the speech, he also thanked the townspeople who are raising awareness about Covid-19.
“Young people in cities are also making efforts to curb Covid-19 cases. This spirit gives us strength and hope,” Prime Minister Modi said.
“Mann ki Baat” is the Prime Minister’s monthly radio address to the nation, broadcast on the last Sunday of each month.
