My phone is being tapped, it will order the CID probe: Mamata | India News

GALSI: One day after an alleged audiotape came to light, in which you are heard proposing a demonstration with the bodies of Cooch Behar dismissing the victims, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee alleged the Saturday that his phone is being tapped and he said he will order a CID Probe on it.
Addressing an election rally here, he accused the BJP of being involved in the conspiracy, as the saffron party “cannot match” Trinamool’s ruling Congressional campaign on development programs.
“They (the BJP leaders) are even eavesdropping on our daily conversation. It seems like they are eavesdropping on our phone calls for cooking and other household chores.
“I will order a CID investigation on the matter. I will not forgive anyone involved in such espionage activities. I have already come to know who is behind this,” said the supreme of TMC.
Banerjee also stated that he has information that “the central forces are involved in such acts with some agents.”
“It is clear that the BJP is behind this, although they claimed that they have no role,” he said.
A controversy erupted on Friday after the BJP released the alleged audio clip in which Banerjee is heard telling Sitalkuchi’s candidate for the Trinamool Congress to hold rallies with the bodies of the four people shot dead by CISF during the elections. April 10.
Claiming that that conversation never took place, the TMC described the audio clip as “false” and wondered if the Center was tapping the phone of a senior minister.
