NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed a rally in Bardhaman, West Bengal on Monday, where he said Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee’s political entries will end with the outcome on May 2.
Campaigning for the fifth phase of the vote on April 17, Prime Minister Modi said that the people of Bengal played clean bowling at Banerjee in Nandigram, implying the defeat of the prime minister.
Prime Minister Modi is scheduled to address various public programs in West Bengal leading up to elections on Monday.
