Sharad Pawar to be released from the hospital today, likely gallbladder surgery after 15 days | India News


MUMBAI: The health of the head of the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP), Sharad Pawar, is stable now and he will be discharged on Saturday, Maharashtra Minister Nawab Malik reported.
Malik further reported that Pawar has been advised a week off and will undergo gallbladder surgery after 15 days if all his health parameters are stable.
Sharad Pawar was seen by doctors today and his health is stable, he will be discharged today. Rest for seven days has been recommended and after 15 days, if all his health parameters are stable, he will undergo gallbladder surgery. “Malik tweeted.
Previously, on March 29, Malik had informed Pawar that he had been diagnosed with gallbladder disease and that the head of the NCP was taking anticoagulant medications which are now being discontinued due to the problem.
“Attention, our party chairman, Sharad Pawar Saheb, was feeling a bit uncomfortable due to a pain in his abdomen last night and therefore he was taken to Breach Candy Hospital for a check-up. After the diagnosis, it came to light that he had a problem with his gallbladder, “Mailk had reported on his Twitter account.
“He is taking anticoagulant medications that are now being discontinued due to this problem. He will be admitted to the hospital on March 31, 2021 and will have an endoscopy and surgery. Therefore, all of his programs are canceled until further notice.” The NCP leader said in another tweet.
