Anand Sharma helping the BJP agenda: Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury | India News

NEW DELHI: The Bengal Congress accused senior leader Anand Sharma of aiding the “polarizing agenda of the BJP” as he stressed that the left and not Congress was giving seats to the ISF. He urged the G-23 rebel group to “rise above the ever-seeking places of personal comfort and stop wasting time singing praises to PM.”
Asking Sharma to “know his facts”, Bengal’s head of state Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury said that the CPM was leading the secular alliance in Bengal to defeat the communal politics of the BJP and an “autocratic regime.” “INC has its full share of seats. The Left Front is assigning seats on its part to the newly formed ISF. His choice to call the decision of the PCM-led front ‘communal’ is only serving the polarizing agenda of the BJP, ”he tweeted.
He said those who oppose fighting the BJP’s “poisonous communalism” should support and campaign for Congress in five states “rather than trying to undermine the party with comments in tune with the BJP’s agenda.”
