PM Modi, a coward, can’t stand up to China: Rahul Gandhi | India News
Addressing a press conference from the congress headquarters in Delhi, Gandhi said the prime minister “has failed to fulfill the responsibility of protecting the territory of India” and has instead ceded territory to China.
“The prime minister is a coward who cannot stand up to the Chinese. He is spitting on the sacrifice of our army. He is betraying the sacrifice of our army. No one in India should be able to,” Gandhi said.
Gandhi’s remarks come a day after India and China reached an agreement on the disengagement on the north and south shores of Lake Pangong in eastern Ladakh.
The congressional leader said the area up to finger 4 in Pangong is Indian territory and asked the prime minister to explain why the soldiers were asked to move to finger 3.
“It is clear that Prime Minister Modi has given land from India to China,” Gandhi said.
“The defense minister did not say a word about the most important strategic area, the Depsang Plains, where China had entered. The truth is that the prime minister has ceded the Indian territory to China. He must answer to the country,” he added. Gandhi said.
