Earthquake in Delhi today: Earthquake tremors felt in Delhi-NCR | India News


NEW DELHI: A 6.3 magnitude high intensity earthquake struck Tajikistan at 10:31 pm, causing tremors in Delhi-NCR and various other parts of northern India on Friday night.
The tremors were also felt across Pakistan, including the capital Islamabad and northwestern Peshawar, and even as far as the eastern city of Lahore, which borders India.
The earthquake occurred at a depth of 91.6 km and its epicenter was located 35 km west of the city of Murghab in Tajikistan.
The epicenter area is largely uninhabited mountainous terrain.
There were no immediate reports of loss of life or property damage.
