NEW DELHI: Rashtrapati Bhavan will reopen from February 6 to the general public, more than 10 months since it was closed due to the Covid-19 pandemic, an official statement said Monday.
It will be open on Saturdays and Sundays, except on government holidays, according to the statement. Visitors can reserve their spaces online for a fee of Rs 50 per visitor.
“To maintain the rules of social distancing, three previously reserved time slots have been set at 10.30 am, 12.30 pm and 2.30 pm with a maximum limit of 25 visitors per time slot,” says the press release.
The historic building was closed to the general public due to the Covid-19 pandemic since March 13 of last year.
During the tour, visitors must follow Covid protocols, such as wearing a mask, maintaining social distance, etc., according to the statement. (AND ME)
