Meeting of the Trade Union Cabinet to be held today via videoconference | India News


NEW DELHI: The Union Cabinet meeting is scheduled for Wednesday via video conference.
“The meeting of the Trade Union Cabinet will take place today at 10:30 am by videoconference,” said an official.
The meeting is scheduled to take place after the agricultural tractor demonstration that caused violence in various parts of the national capital on Tuesday.
At the last meeting chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on December 30, 2020, the Cabinet approved the export of the Akash Missile System with the goal of reaching the $ 5 billion defense export target and enhancing strategic relations with friendly foreign countries.
It also approved a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Government of the Republic of India and the Royal Government of Bhutan on Cooperation on Peaceful Outer Space Users signed on November 19, 2020 by both parties in Bangalore / Thimpu and exchanged.
The Union Cabinet also approved the opening of 3 Indian missions in Estonia, Paraguay and the Dominican Republic in 2021.
