More MLA will leave TMC, Mamata will also fight from their seats, asks Suvendu | India News

NANDIGRAM: BJP leader Suvendu Adhikari stated on Tuesday that more MLAs will be leaving the TMC in the coming days and wondered if West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee will also compete from her seats.
The chief minister has announced that she will compete from the Nandigram seat, where Adhikari was the MLA seated, in addition to fighting from her constituency of Bhowanipore.
Mamata’s announcement came days after the former transportation minister resigned from the ruling party in the state, prompting an exodus of TMC leaders to the BJP.
“Banerjee has announced that she will compete from the Nandigram seat, where she will be defeated. In addition, her percentage of votes in the Bhowanipore constituency has also fallen dramatically since the 2019 Lok Sabha elections.
“The supreme of TMC may also declare in the next few days that she will compete from the seats of Domjur or Bally. But wherever she goes, she will face the music,” Adhikari said while addressing a public meeting.
The TMC renegade claimed that “the lotus will blossom” in the entire Adhikari family by Ram Navami and even in the Banerjee house in mid-February.
Attacking Banerjee again for the Victoria Memorial episode, Adhikari claimed that ‘Jai Shri Ram’ has been used as a greeting for a long time and wondered why the TMC Supreme gets angry hearing the chant.
Banerjee declined to deliver his speech after the audience raised the slogans for ‘Jai Shri Ram’ in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi as he rose to speak at the Victoria Memorial on the 125th anniversary of the birth of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose on 23 from January.
“Ram Rajya means ushering in good government in which all citizens, from the farmer to the worker, are happy. ‘Jai Shri Ram’ has been used as a greeting as Lord Ram is embedded in our psyche.
“He loves and cares for all the residents of his kingdom, but why does our honorable CM get angry hearing the chant?” Adhikari said.
BJP state chief Dilip Ghosh told reporters in Kolkata that from now on, Banerjee will be greeted with ‘Jai Shri Ram’ wherever she goes.
