Co-pilot critical of crashed Dhruv helicopter | India News

JAMMU: A co-pilot’s condition remains critical on Tuesday after a Dhruv helicopter crashed in the Kathua district of Jammu and Kashmir the previous day, authorities said.
One pilot was killed after the Indian Army’s advanced light helicopter, coming from Pathankot, made a forced landing on the Basholi belt, police said.
The co-pilot, Capt. Anjani Kumar Singh, remains critical, a Northern Command spokesman said.
The mortal remains of Lieutenant Colonel Rishubh Sharma are transferred to Delhi on a service plane, accompanied by his wife, five-year-old son and parents, who happened to be in Pathankot on a visit.
“The cremation is in his hometown in Faridabad,” the spokesman said.
Officials are investigating the reason for the accident.
