PM Modi ranks first among world leaders in these challenging times: Nadda
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has received the highest rating among world leaders, BJP Chairman JP Nadda said on Saturday, citing an investigation by a US firm. According to the PTI news agency, Morning Consult has said that more than 75 percent of people approve of PM Modi, while 20 percent disapprove of him, putting its net approval rating at 55 percent. This is higher than any other world leader the firm tracks, he said.
“Our prime minister has emerged once again as the most popular head of government for his efficient handling of various problems and handling of the COVID-19 crisis,” he said in a tweet.
Nadda stated that the Morning Consult rating was a testament to the Prime Minister’s capable leadership and hard work and is a source of pride for all citizens of the country. “Since the Modi-led government came to power, people’s trust in the government and the faith that the nation is progressing in the right direction has increased dramatically,” he added.
In another post, Nadda praised Modi as one of the most popular leaders in all regions of India and his acceptance around the world. “The popularity of Hon PM @narendramodi ji is not only steadily increasing across all demographic groups and geographic regions of the country, but he is also receiving global recognition for his dedication to his country. Prime Minister Modi ranks first among all world leaders in these challenging times, ”tweeted the president of BJP.
In April last year, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman had shared the findings of the same American research firm, according to which Modi’s popularity was increasing at a rapid rate at the time. “@PMOIndia leads #IndiaFightsCorona from the front. Consistently high approval ratings for @narendramodi. The nation is confident in his leadership in an extraordinary situation due to a pandemic, ”Sitharaman tweeted on April 22 along with charts reflecting the approval ratings of world leaders based on public opinion.
Union Interior Minister Amit Shah also praised the prime minister for the global praise he was receiving in the context of the Covid-19 fight that Modi led in India. “The truth is self-evident! The whole world is praising Prime Minister @narendramodi, the way he is handling the global COVID-19 pandemic, caring for Indians and helping the world community in such challenging times. All Indians feel safe and trust his leadership, ”Shah tweeted on April 23, 2020.
