They have the ability to attack terrorist targets throughout the LoC, Rajnath Singh warns Pakistan
India has the ability to strike terrorist targets across the border should the need arise, Defense Minister Rajanth Singh said, noting that Pakistan has engaged in notorious actions along the border since its inception.
In an exclusive interview with ANI, the minister said that Pakistan has been resorting to between 300 and 400 ceasefire violations in a few months, but the Army provides an adequate response.
“Since its existence, Pakistan has engaged in notorious actions along the border,” he said.
The minister said the troops were working to eradicate terrorism in Jammu and Kashmir.
“The country’s soldiers have shown that not only on this side, but to eliminate terrorism they can go to the other side and attack terrorist hideouts if the need arises. India has that capacity, that power, ”he said.
India had carried out a surgical strike on terror launch pads across the border in 2016 after the Uri terror attack. He had carried out an air strike against the terrorist camp in Balakot in 2019 after the Pulwama terrorist attack.
The minister had criticized Pakistan during the graduation parade at the Air Force Academy in Dundigal earlier this month and said the neighboring country has continued its “nefarious acts” on the border, even after losing four wars. (AND ME)
