BJP involved in the horse trade in West Bengal: Digvijaya | India News


DURG: Congressional Top Leader Digvijaya Singh alleged on Sunday that the BJP was involved in a “horse swap” in West Bengal, which is at the polls.
Slamming Singh, BJP Rajya Sabha MP Saroj Pandey tweeted in Hindi: “When you (Singh) were chief minister (of Madhya Pradesh), what were you buying at the Khajuraho hotel in 1995 to overthrow the BJP government in Gujarat – you put your black money as a ‘charagah’ (grass) “.
When asked by reporters in Durg about some of the ruling TMC’s MLAs in West Bengal, where elections are due to take place in 2021, to join the BJP, Singh said: “All these things are a money game. The BJP has that they are using to the horse trade.They (BJP) have amassed a lot of black money.
“In the way animals used to be sold in mandis (markets), today MLA is sold,” he added.
Singh was in Durg to participate in the condolences meeting to pay tribute to the leader of Congress, Motilal Vora, who died on December 21.
He said that many components of the BJP-led NDA are leaving the bloc. “Very soon, Bihar’s chief minister, Nitish Kumar, will have to separate from them,” Singh added.
