PM Modi Leads the Nation in Honoring Atal’s Birth Anniversary | India News


NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi, several Union ministers and some opposition party leaders paid tribute to former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee and Madan Mohan Malviya on their birth anniversary on Friday.
Modi was accompanied by the chairman of Lok Sabha Om Birla, the leader of the opposition in Rajya Sabha, Ghulam Nabi Azad and the chairman of the public accounts committee Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury to pay tributes inside the Central Hall of Parliament. On the occasion, the prime minister published a book entitled “Atal Bihari Vajpayee in Parliament – A Commemorative Volume” presented by the Lok Sabha secretariat. The book highlights Vajpayee’s ideas and views on a wide range of important national and international issues.
Later, AAP MP Sanjay Singh tweeted a video showing him and his party colleague, Bhagwat Mann, raising slogans against the farm laws and holding protest signs inside Central Hall.
