BJP will have a hard time crossing double digits in Bengal: Poll strategist Prashant Kishor | India News

The saffron party, which has already launched the campaign, was quick to react saying that the country will lose an electoral strategist, although without naming him. On Sunday, Union Interior Minister Amit Shah had said that the BJP will cross 200 seats in Bengal’s 294-seat assembly.
Kishor, TMC-appointed political strategist, tweeted Monday: “Despite all the hype amplified by a supportive media section, in reality BJP will have a hard time crossing double digits.” Kishor even dared BJP to save this post to Twitter. “Please save this tweet and if BJP does better, I must leave this space.”

State Minister and TMC leader Malay Ghatak tweeted in support, stating that BJP will “struggle to cross double digits” in the 2021 polls. Kolkata Mayor Firhad Hakim said: “Rest assured that the BJP Faceless will collapse in 2021. ” BJP’s Bengal keeper Kailash Vijayvargiya replied on his Twitter account: “With the ongoing BJP tsunami in Bengal, after forming the government we will see the country lose an electoral strategist.” BJP Bengal Co-Director Arvind Menon tagged Kishor’s tweet to say: “BJP is not based on the predictions of others, we create our own.”
He said, “Didi will be isolated” and “BJP will win 200 seats … early greetings for his farewell.”
