BOLPUR: The people of West Bengal yearn for change as they want to get rid of Bangladesh’s political violence, corruption, extortion and infiltration, Union Interior Minister Amit Shah said on Sunday, attacking the Mamata government Banerjee.
Addressing people during a tour in Bolpur, a city associated with Bengali literary and cultural icon Rabindranath Tagore, Shah promised to restore the state to its former glory when it was called “sounding Bangla” (Golden Bengal) if the BJP is elected to power.
