MHA to deploy volunteers to raise money for the military
The Union Ministry of the Interior will deploy volunteers to the four entry and exit gates of the New Delhi North Block on December 7 to collect donations to support the families of soldiers who lost their lives in the line of duty, former military personnel. disabled and their dependents. On December 7, the Day of the Flag of the Armed Forces is celebrated and the fundraising is carried out at the request of the Ministry of Defense.
In accordance with an order from the Home Office, volunteers will receive donations from individuals and officials visiting the offices in the North Block that house key ministries. Agents have been asked to “contribute generously.”
Defense Minister Rajnath Singh said Wednesday that the Armed Forces Flag Day will be observed throughout December. “It is our national responsibility to support the families of our security personnel, who have been killed or injured on the duty line.”
Armed Forces Flag Day has been observed annually on December 7 since 1949 to honor soldiers, airmen, and sailors.
