Spilling arrogance, doing justice to farmers: Rahul to the government | India News
Farmers, mostly from Punjab and Haryana, are holding protests on the Singhu, Tikri and Ghazipur borders of the national capital against the Center’s new agricultural marketing laws.
On Twitter, Gandhi said that they were all in debt to the farmers for their hard work and that this debt would be paid only by giving them justice.
“The food producer is sitting in protest on the roads and fields and speeches are being given on television. We are all in debt to the hard work of the farmers. This debt will be ended only by giving them justice and their rights, and not by mistreating or hitting them with batons or using tear gas at them, “he said in a Hindi tweet.
Annadata is staging the streets and plains, and ‘Jhooth’ speeches on TV! We all owe a debt to the hard work of the farmer.

“Wake up and step down from the chair of arrogance and think about giving farmers their rights,” he also said.
The Center has invited farmers unions on the move to dialogue on Tuesday. The farmers’ uproar appeared to intensify despite strong advocacy for the legislation by the government and Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who has accused the opposition of “playing a trick” on farmers again through disinformation.
