PM Modi will address the 71st Mann Ki Baat at 11am today
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address the nation through his monthly Mann Ki Baat radio show at 11am on Sunday. On November 17, he sought suggestions from people on the themes for the 71st edition of the show.
“Every #MannKiBaat we celebrate the achievements of outstanding people who work for the good of society. But for every example shared, there are many that I can’t share due to time constraints. But I read a lot of the contributions and they are really valuable, ”he tweeted.
“This month’s #MannKiBaat is the 29th. I have already received many interesting contributions and anecdotes about inspiring life journeys. Please keep sharing your thoughts on the NaMo app, MyGov or record your message at 1800-11-7800, ”added the prime minister.
In the 70th edition of the program, broadcast on October 25, the prime minister urged compatriots to buy local products during the festival season and spoke about Pulwama in Jammu and Kashmir, which is emerging as a center for pencil making.
Today, Pulwama is playing an important role in the education of the entire nation. Today, if students across the country do their homework, prepare notes, it is because of the hard work of the people of Pulwama, ”said Prime Minister Modi.
“Almost 90 percent of the demand for pencil slate in the country is satisfied by the Kashmir Valley. And Pulwama has a huge stake in that. At one time, we used to import pencil wood, but now Pulwama is making the country self-sufficient in this field, ”he added.
