Northern Railways ends short and diverts trains due to farmers’ uproar
Amid the agitation by farmers in Punjab against farm laws, Northern Railways said on Saturday that some trains will have a short termination, short origination or detour.
Northern Railways Director of Public Relations Deepak Kumar issued a statement.
The special express train trip 02715 Nanded-Amritsar starting on November 28 will briefly end in New Delhi, while the trip 02716 Amritsar-Nanded starting on November 30 will have a short origin in New Delhi and will remain partially canceled between New Delhi , Amritsar and New Delhi.

The 02925 BandraTerminus – Amritsar express trip starting on November 28 will briefly end in Chandigarh. Consequently, the 02926 Amritsar-Bandra Terminus express trip starting on November 30 will have a short origin in Chandigarh and will remain partially canceled between Chandigarh-Amritsar-Chandigarh.
The 02903 Mumbai Central-Amritsar express trip starting on November 27 will be diverted to go through Beas – Tarntaran – Amritsar, while the 02904 Amritsar-Mumbai Central express trip starting on November 28 will be diverted to go through Amritsar-Tarntaran – Beas.
Special trip 04650/74 Amritsar- Jaynagar express starting 11.29.20 will be diverted to pass through Amritsar -Tarntaran – Beas, while 04649/73 Jaynagar -Amritsar express special jco 11.27.20 will divert to pass through Beas – Tarntaran – Amritsar.
