Yogi Adityanath to Campaign in Hyderabad for Local Body Polls | India News

LUCK: UP Prime Minister Yogi Adityanath will campaign in Hyderabad on November 28 for the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) elections for 150 districts in 24 Assembly seats.
The BJP is trying to make progress and Yogi Adityanath is likely to launch his campaign from the Golconda area in the Old City.
Although corporate elections are usually a local affair, the BJP is doing its best to win the polls by bringing in its star activists, including union ministers Amit Shah, Smriti Irani, and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.
Yogi Adityanath has emerged as one of the party’s main crowd builders of late and is highly sought after in election campaigns, with Bihar being the most recent example.
An official from the Chief Minister’s office confirmed that “The Chief Minister will participate in a road show on November 28. He will campaign for one day.”
The GHMC elections, scheduled for December 1, have turned into a prestigious battle for the BJP and this is clear from their star-studded roster of activists, rare in a municipal election.
