Constitution Day: President Leads Community Reading of Preamble to Nation India News

NEW DELHI: President Ram Nath Kovind led the nation in the community reading of the Constitution’s preamble on Thursday on the occasion of Constitution Day.
“The president read the preamble to Rashtrapati Bhavan, which was broadcast live on Doordarshan and joined people from across the country,” an official statement said.
It was also screened live at Kevadia in Gujarat, which is the site of the 80th All India Conference of Presidents.

“The community reading of the Preamble, organized by the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment of the Union, is part of various activities such as webinars, exhibitions, essay contest, poster contest, contest contest and slogan contest aimed at highlighting and reiterate the values and principles enshrined in the Constitution, ”the statement said.
