BSF delivers the body of an intruder to Pakistan | India News

JAMMU: One day after shooting an intruder across the international border in the Samba district of J&K, BSF held a flag meeting with the Pakistani Rangers on Tuesday to hand over the body.
“Eleven members of BSF staff and 15 from Pakistan participated in the meeting in which the Pak Rangers identified the intruder as Abdul Hamid from Pakistan. After this, the body was handed over to Pakistani troops, ”said a BSF spokesman.
On Monday night, BSF noticed a suspicious movement along the IB near the Chaman Khurd and Chak Faqeera border posts in Pakistan and opened fire in which Hamid was killed and his body found dumped near the Zero Line.
The infiltration attempt was thwarted a day after security forces unearthed a 150m long underground cross-border tunnel lined with sandbags bearing the “Karachi marks” at the IB in the same area, which four Jaish terrorists -e-Mohammad – killed in an encounter in Nagrota on November 19, supposedly used to enter India.
