Terrorist arrested in the Pulwama district of southern Kashmir
A terrorist was detained in the Pulwama district of southern Kashmir after receiving information from his partner’s interrogation, army officials said on Sunday.
Chinar Corps tweeted that security forces launched a joint operation Saturday night in Pulwama’s Chatpura Mohalla and detained one person.
“A joint operation was launched late at night on November 21 based on intelligence information about the presence of a person from Handwara, who was actively involved with terrorists. Cordon was established and the person was arrested, ”he said.
The army said questioning of the person revealed the presence of a terrorist at a nearby religious school.

“During a new search operation, a terrorist (name withheld) was arrested,” he said.
The joint operation is over.
On Saturday, police in Awantipora, in southern Kashmir, arrested two associated militants linked to the banned terrorist group Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM).
Identified as Bilal Ahmad Chopan, a resident of Wagad Tral, and Mursaleen Bashir Sheikh, a resident of Chatlam Pampore, the police said they were providing logistical support and shelter as well as transporting weapons and ammunition to the militants in the Pampore and Tral areas.
Police said they were also found involved in passing confidential information to JeM.
