President Kovind and Prime Minister Modi to Address Speakers’ Meeting
President Ram Nath Kovind and Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address the 80th edition of the All India Conference of Presidents which will discuss the theme of “Harmonious Coordination between the Legislative, Executive and Judiciary: Key to a Vibrant Democracy” in Kevadia , in Gujarat.
“November 26 is the 71st anniversary of Constitution Day. On this occasion, the 80th All India Board Conference is being organized in Kevadia, Gujarat. It will take place from November 25 to 26, ”Lok Sabha President Om Birla announced on Saturday.
The issue of harmonious coordination between the legislature between the judiciary and the legislature takes on prominence amid an increasing number of presidents being removed from the courts, especially in anti-defection laws. The legislation had been the subject of intense debate in previous Board meetings.
The President of India will open the session and Chief Justice of India SA Bobde will also address a session, the officials added.
Birla also said that during the conference, the presidents of the legislatures will discuss the need for better cooperation and coordination among the three pillars of democracy.
