Two JeM Associates Held at J&K Pulwama | India News


SRINAGAR: Two terrorist associates of the Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) group were arrested in the Pulwama district of Jammu and Kashmir, police said on Saturday.
They have been identified as Bilal Ahmad Chopan, a resident of Wagad Tral, and Mursaleen Bashir Sheikh of Chatlam Pampore, a police officer said.
The duo were captured in the Awantipora area in the southern district of Kashmir, he said.
The official said that according to the investigation, they were providing logistical support and shelter as well as transporting weapons and ammunition to the terrorists in the Pampore and Tral areas of the district.
The police have registered cases and further investigations are underway, he added.
