In a tweet in Hindi, Rahul Gandhi also paid tribute to Indira Gandhi, calling her an efficient prime minister.
“The whole country still sets the example of her impressive leadership, but I always remember her as my beloved grandmother. Her teachings constantly inspire me,” said the former head of Congress.
Rahul Gandhi also paid floral tributes to Indira Gandhi at her ‘Shakti Sthal’ memorial here.
The main speaker of Congress and secretary general of the party, Randeep Surjewala, also paid a rich tribute to Indira Gandhi on her 103rd birthday.
