13 civilians injured in Pulwama grenade attack | India News

SRINAGAR: At least 13 civilians were injured Wednesday night when terrorists threw a grenade into a CRPF 41-Bn bunker in the Kakapora area of ​​the Pulwama district in southern Kashmir, but the explosive did not hit the intended target. and exploded on the road.
The injured, including a native of Uttar Pradesh, were taken to the Kakapora primary medical care center, from where four were referred to the Pampore sub-district hospital and two to the bone and joint hospital in Srinagar, said Dr Gulzar Ahmad, an official. a doctor from the Pampore block, adding that most of them had received splinter injuries and were stable.
Security forces cordoned off the scene of the attack and launched a search operation to track down the perpetrators.
High-ranking police officers rushed to the scene to investigate the explosion. A case was registered in the relevant sections of the IPC and was being investigated, a police officer said.
