Anil Deshmukh, Army Officers Attend Wreath Laying Ceremony Of Soldier Killed In Violation Of Ceasefire In Pak | India News


NAGPUR: Maharashtra Interior Minister Anil Deshmukh, along with Lieutenant General Asit Mistry and other army officers, laid a wreath on Monday over the mortal remains of Naik Satai Bhushan, who died in an unprovoked violation of the high el fire from Pakistan.
Bhushan was among five security forces personnel and six civilians who lost their lives after Pakistan surrendered to the cross-border bombardment along the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir on November 13.
“I, on behalf of the government of Maharashtra, pay tribute to the brave heart that lost its life for the country,” Deshmukh said as he paid tribute to Bhushan here.
The Indian army had paid tribute to the soldiers who died on November 13 in northern Kashmir in a violation of the ceasefire initiated by the Pakistani army in different sectors.
The late Havildar Hardhan Chandra Roy and the late gunner Subodh Ghosh of the Artillery regiment were deployed to the Uri sector, while the late Naik Satai Bhushan Rameshrao and the late Sepoy Jandhole Rushikesh Ramachandra of the Maratha Light Infantry were deployed to the Gurez Sector. .
The Chinar Corps also recognized the sacrifice of Deputy Inspector Rakesh Doval of the Border Security Force who was killed in violation of the ceasefire in the Nagum sector.
