PATNA: The NDA in Bihar on Sunday unanimously chose Nitish Kumar as its Leader in the state legislature, paving the way for his return as Chief Minister for the fourth consecutive term.
According to sources in the ruling coalition, BJP leader and Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, who had flown for the occasion, made an announcement at 1, Anney Marr, the official residence of the chief ministers.
The sources also said that BJP leader Sushil Kumar Modi has been elected legislative party leader and is likely to return as executive vice president, while Tarkishore Prasad, Katihar’s MLA, has been elected party leader in the state assembly. .
