I hope the pessimism of the pandemic and economic difficulties put an end to this Diwali: Sonia Gandhi

The President of Congress, Sonia Gandhi, wished her fellow citizens on Saturday for Diwali and hoped that the festival of lights would end the gloom of the pandemic, the darkness of the economic recession and the anguish.

Sending greetings and warm wishes to all compatriots, he wished that this joyous and pious occasion would put the nation back on the path of progress, harmony and prosperity.

He expressed his hope and prayed that “a million lamps that illuminate India and our hearts in this festival of lights will end the gloom of the pandemic, the darkness of the economic recession and the anguish caused to our fellow citizens.”

He called on people to adhere to all pandemic-related guidelines and precautions as they celebrate. Former Congress President Rahul Gandhi also wished his fellow citizens on Diwali.
