KANPUR: In another broader indication of the consolidation of ties between Akhilesh Yadav and his uncle Shivpal, the head of the Samajwadi Party promised the founder of Pragatisheel Samajwadi Party Lohia (PSPL) and his uncle representation in the state cabinet if SP comes to power in the 2022 assembly elections.
Not only this, Akhilesh Yadav also announced that SP will not compete from Jaswantnagar, the assembly seat from where his uncle Shivpal Yadav had been contesting all these years.
Yadav without naming the Congress, the Bahujan Samaj Party also made it clear that his party will not bet on any type of alliance with the major political parties.

He also convicted and attacked Yogi Adityanath, led by the BJP government, for the callous behavior of policemen with children of merchants who sold firecrackers in Bulandshahr.
“Lok Bhawan in the state capital is made for people to sit down and give good government, but if someone insults people and causes difficulties for them, then those people should be kicked out of Lok Bhawan,” he said.
Several leaders and workers from Congress and the BSP joined the SP in the presence of Akhilesh Yadav on the occasion. “Every two days, the leaders of Congress and the BSP join the Samajwadi party, which is a good sign and will further strengthen the SP,” he said.
