8 Pakistani Soldiers Killed As Indian Army Retaliates Against LoC Ceasefire Violation In Jammu And Kashmir
At least eight Pakistani army soldiers were killed in retaliation on Saturday by the Indian army in response to ceasefire violations from across the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir, the ANI news agency reported.
“The list of Pakistani army soldiers killed includes 2-3 commandos from the Pakistan Army Special Service Group (SSG),” said Indian army sources, ANI news agency reported.
“10 to 12 Pakistani Army soldiers were wounded in the Indian Army shooting which also destroyed a large number of Pakistani Army bunkers, fuel depots and launch pads,” ANI reported, citing sources. .
In a major escalation along the Line of Control, four members of the security forces personnel, including a BSF deputy inspector, were killed on Friday in multiple ceasefire violations by Pakistani troops. Four civilians have also been killed in the multiple reported ceasefire violations from the Gurez sector to the Uri sector of Jammu and Kashmir, authorities said.
Many others have been injured. Indian army sources said that between 10 and 12 Pakistani army soldiers were injured in the shooting by the Indian army. A large number of Pakistani army bunkers, fuel depots and launch pads have been destroyed, Indian army sources said.
