‘You dream of becoming CM after getting 40 seats’: RJD’s Manoj Jha taunts Nitish Kumar
Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Manoj Jha attacked Bihar Prime Minister Nitish Kumar on Thursday, saying that the president of Janata Dal (United States) “dreams” of retaining the top ministerial post despite winning. only 40 “seats in the Bihar assembly elections held in late October and early November.
“Public is indeed the master, but look at the condition in which they have placed you. You (Nitish Kumar) dream of becoming CM after getting 40 seats. If you analyze the mandate, it is decisive against you. If you still get the message, only God knows how long this illusion will last, ”Jha said according to the ANI news agency.

Jha’s comment comes as the prime minister’s party, which opposed in alliance with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) as part of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA), won only 43 seats. The BJP, on the other hand, managed to win 74 of the 110 electoral districts of the assembly that it contested.
Speaking about the electoral victory, Bihar’s BJP leader and Senior Deputy Minister Sushil Modi said that very few people have a chance to become prime minister for a fourth term and thanked the people for supporting the NDA alliance. “I thank the people of Bihar who expressed their faith in NDA for the fourth time. It is not ordinary. In Indian politics there are very few CMs that people trust for the fourth time, ”he said.
In total, the NDA partners – BJP, JD (U), Vikassheel Insaan Party and Hindustani Awam Morcha (Secular) – together won 125 seats out of the 243 constituencies of the assembly, while the RJD-led Grand Alliance failed cross the 122-seat majority mark. as it won in 110 seats. Tejashwi Yadav’s RJD, however, emerged as the largest party with 75 seats.
