India conducts another night test of the Prithvi-II missile | India News


Bhubaneswar: India on Friday successfully conducted another night test of the locally developed nuclear-capable Prithvi-II ballistic missile from a defense test facility off the coast of Odisha, DRDO sources said.
The short-range surface-to-surface missile was tested from the Integrated Test Range (ITR) launch complex III around 7.30pm as part of a user test by the Defense Research and Development Organization, Command of Strategic Forces (DRDO) sources said.
This was the second successful night test of the Prithvi-II missile in less than a month.
Previously, the Indian Army successfully conducted a nightly trial on September 23.
Prithvi-II is capable of attacking targets at a distance of 350 km.
