Volkswagen: Volkswagen Polo, Vento get automatic variants in BS6 avatar


MUMBAI: Volkswagen India announced on Wednesday the start of bookings and pricing for the top automatic variant of the BS6 compliant Polo and Vento versions.
The GT TSI and Vento Highline Plus are back at an introductory price of Rs 9.67 lakh and Rs 12.99 lakh (ex-showroom) respectively. Both car lines are now available with a 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission variant that retains its philosophy of maximum power and minimum consumption.
The AT variants of both the BS6 Polo and Vento are powered by Volkswagen’s 1.0l TSI engine, delivering 110PS and 175Nm of torque. The Polo GT TSI comes equipped with two airbags, black OVRM caps, GTI-inspired seats and a black rear spoiler. In the Vento, for the safety and comfort of the passengers, the Highline Plus variant consists of four airbags, eye-catching LED headlights that offer a comfortable ride.

The BS6 AT variants of the Polo offer a fuel economy of 16.47 kmpl, while for the Vento it would be certified at 16.35 kmpl (ARAI).

Deliveries of the Polo GT TSI and Vento Highline Plus automatic transmission will begin on September 15, 2020.
