In the latest developments in the Sushant Singh Rajput case, the Mumbai Police have turned to the media and have formally narrated the series of events in the investigation into the actor’s disappearance. In the statement, Police Commissioner Param Bir Singh said police have recorded around 56 statements and have dismissed reports of an alleged party that took place at the actor’s residence the night before.

According to a Times Now report, Mumbai police sources were quoted as saying: “So far 56 statements have been recorded. Sushant Singh was depressed after Disha’s death. There was no party at Sushant’s house the night before his death.

Reports also indicate that during an interrogation with the Bihar police, help from Sushant’s home dismissed all rumors of a party at the house organized on that particular night.

This confirmation comes shortly after rumors circulating that an influencer was at the party that allegedly took place on June 13. The actor was found dead hanging in his apartment on June 14.

In a statement to the media, the Police Commissioner said: “The forensic team visited the Sushant department on June 15. The Mumbai police are investigating all angles.”

Ensuring that the police handle this case from “all angles,” whether it be “professional rivalry, financial problems, and health-related problems.”

The Commissioner also assured that the police “have not released anyone” from the investigations.

In another report, the dean of the Mumbai hospital, where the autopsy of the actor’s body was performed, said in a statement to the Times Now that there was no “foul play” involved in the actor’s death. He also stated that no statements could be made about it at this time, since the autopsy was performed and the reports were with the forensic department.

In addition to this, police investigations have also dismissed allegations of a sum of Rs 15 million transferred from the account of the deceased actor to the accounts of actress Rhea Chakraborty.

Sushant’s father, KK Singh, filed an FIR with Patna police against Rhea for “suicide instigation”, in addition to other charges including “cheating.” The actress, on the other hand, has asked the Supreme Court to transfer the Bihar police case to the Mumbai police.
